All our pupils should try to read everyday while at home from school, find something that interests you and get reading!

It can be a book, instructions, recipes, fact books, whatever interests you!

Here is a fun reading website, for all ages, with games, videos and lots of suitable reading material.

Here is a lovely resource that could give our parents some ideas for activities to do with their children while school is closed.

These activities are lots of fun but also provide the children with lots of learning opportunities!

Rainbow Treasure Hunt

May 6, 2020

Senior Infants took part in a treasure hunt in their homes this week.

They had to find lots of objects, in lots of different colours and then arrange them like a rainbow!

Well done Senior Infants!

Here is a little poem about the colours of the rainbow:

Red and yellow and pink and green

Orange and purple and blue,

I can sing a rainbow,

Sing a rainbow,

Sing a rainbow too!

Why not find some songs about rainbows too – try looking up Super Simple Songs or Mother Goose Club on Youtube!

Cards for our friends!

May 1, 2020

Senior Infants made lovely cards to say hello to their friends in their class and tell them they are missing them!

Well done Senior Infants – what a lovely idea!
