Recently we have been learning about the Normans in History, and for Art the children had to sketch a Motte and Bailey castle, also labeling the different parts.
Well done 3rd class, keep up the fantastic work!

All our pupils should try to read everyday while at home from school, find something that interests you and get reading!
It can be a book, instructions, recipes, fact books, whatever interests you!
Here is a fun reading website, for all ages, with games, videos and lots of suitable reading material.
3rd class children have been working extremely hard on Seesaw this week.
In Maths they have been identifying and classifying 3D shapes. One activity they had to do was a 3D shape hunt in their house. They found some fantastic shapes!
This week we also learned about the Water Cycle and we added new words such as Precipitation, Condensation and Evaporation to our vocabulary.
The children really enjoyed Art this week, their task was to draw Baby Yoda and as you can see we have some really talented artists in 3rd class.
Have a look through our photos to see some of the fantastic work!
3rd class have also been creating emoji stories this week with the sentence starter “I had a weird dream…” This was a really fun activity for the children to do.
