🌞 Last week in Junior Infants we revised our jolly Phonics sounds - y, x, sh, ch and th. We did a range of writing activities, games and decoding on each of the sounds so we are becoming reading and writing experts!
🌞 In Numeracy we added two sets together to find the total! Some sets had a value of zero! A difficult concept for Junior Infants- but we persevered and we are definitely getting the hang of it now!
🌞 Science- we followed the journey of Ricky Raindrop through the 'water cycle' and discussed clothing for wet days... its hard to remember a wet day though! We've been having such beautiful sunny weather recently!
🌞 SPHE- we discussed Rainbow Fish in more detail and how 'sharing is caring'.
🌞 Art- we made beautiful rainbow fish with spectacular shimmering scales! Wow, they are breathtaking!
🌞 We are checking the progress of our Crocosmia flowers. They are getting bigger every week. And the boys and girls love to water them and make sure they are getting enough sun... everything A plant needs to grow!
