Firstly a thank you for all your efforts in making our school World Book Day so enjoyable for the children. The kids had quizzes, reading, parades and songs. They created their own flyers to go along our school book, Look Up. We talked about the important role that pictures play in books. They will be changing their library books again tomorrow so there is plenty of new adventures for them to get reading.

Maths
The children have been consolidating their learning of fractions and decimals by converting back and forth between the two. Also adding full numbers and ordering.
English, SESE and Art
All integrated to the topics of types of house in Ireland Victorian times and creating their own houses. Kids have completed comprehensions, grammar and reading. They also used boxes to create the outside and inside of different houses. They will present them on Friday to the class.

We have started the new topic of home. The children are working in teams and are given a room each to put on a poster and label
