A short and busy week this week. Here is a flavour a the topics we have been covering
Maths
We have reviewed some of our learning to date. Shape, angles, triangles, circles, fractions, decimals and percentages. We also had fun matching our compound shapes and measuring area and perimeter.
Spanish
We had a Spanish tutor for our second week. The kids learned how to say hello, how are you and to reply in kind. They also learned some numbers.
Irish
We completed a beautiful display for the hall, showing all the rooms in the house and the items that we might find there. The kids used their knowledge and foclair to label the pictures.
Ratburger
We continued out class novel. I will be getting the children to read some chapters at home next week so please read with them or ask questions about the book.
A big well done to those who were involved with the school Gaelic team this week.
