Below is some of the work we completed this week:
This week in English, the children explored anagrams and developed their understanding of adverbs.
In Gaeilge, we continued our focus on irregular verbs in the past tense. The children demonstrated excellent progress and confidence, particularly when using these verbs correctly in their own sentences.
In Maths, we introduced the topic of chance, with the class engaging well in discussions and activities around probability.
Our Religion lessons centered on the theme of forgiveness, encouraging thoughtful reflection and meaningful discussion among the children.
In SPHE, the children learned about growing and changing, fostering awareness and understanding of personal development.
In Geography, we focused on world flags. The children greatly enjoyed taking part in a quiz featuring the flags of the countries competing in this year’s World Cup. The children designed a flag from their home country and passports in preparation for Multicultural Day.
In Music, the children worked on learning a dance in preparation for Multicultural Day.
