This week we practised really hard for the upcoming Seinn concert. On Thursday, we took a trip to the Redeemer Church, Dundalk for rehearsals. The children took part in the choir, singing alongside lots of other Catholic schools in Dundalk. The children are looking forward to the concert next week.
In Math this week, we have continued to work on long division. The children are trying hard to remember each step of long division (Divide-Multiply-Subtract-Bring down-Repeat or Remainder). I am very proud of their persistent efforts this week in Math. We also began to work on a new topic of 'Money.' The children considered ways to use the least amount of notes/ coins to make a given price.
In English, we created 'How to make...' recipes as part of our procedural writing. The children gave peer feedback to others and created a published piece of work based on this feedback.
