As you have now all seen from the parent teacher meetings, this is the topics we have covered in class this week.
Maths
We have learnt about the communicative nature of Maths. The children have seen the importance of their multiplication facts in helping with their work and then applied this knowledge to dividing.
English
The children have completed more free writing. We have started a handwriting club. The kids continue to work on reading and vocabulary which is vital. We have started a new class novel also
SESE
kids completed their learning on the Egyptian way of life. They finished their art projects using recycled materials to build a structure from that time period.
Swimming
We continue with our 6 week swimming programme today. The kids really enjoyed the first week and are looking forward to today.
Music
I have given the children 5 notes to learn on the tin whistle. We will get there with it
