Math
We have learned about different types of angles and lines. Acute, obtuse and right angles as well as vertical, horizontal and perpendicular lines.
Please encourage your child to practice their 2 and 3 times tables as we have started our times table passports.
Irish
The children are continuing to learn how to describe their likes and dislikes. They are able to say different body parts and we have started to read short stories in class
English
Please work at home on capital letters and full stops. This reflects what we are doing in school. The children learned about types of transport and are starting work on a transport research project.
SESE
The children learned about the local popular myth of The Cattle Raid of Cooley. They really enjoyed learning about Queen Meabh
In Art we created self portraits.
