In English this week, we read about a young girl called Malala Yousafzai who campaigns around the world for every girl's right to an Education. We began writing our newspaper report about her also.
In Math, we continue to work on Fractions including those with different denominators. Fractions can be a difficult concept and therefore it is important to continue to revise this at home with the children.
In SESE, we have been learning about the Inca Empire and researching lots of facts about the hierarchy of the Incas.
In Art, we worked on ' Thinking outside the box.' The children were given a piece of what looked like an obvious picture, then they had to draw something else entirely from this piece.
In PE, we worked on games in the hall and had lots of fun. We were glad to have extra time in PE this week, as the weather didn't allow for much time outside.
In SPHE, we have been considering what influences our choices and considering the effects of our choices on our body.
