We completed the 'Safe Hands' programme with Woman's Aid on Monday. This was a very useful programme for the kids.
The children went to Gr8 today for their school tour. Well done on the fantastic behaviour! The children had a great day bowling, karaoke, snooker and playing interactive darts and golf.
Below are some of the topics we covered this week:
English - The children finished their reports on their favourite animals. We also finished our novel 'The boy at the back of the classroom'. The children really enjoyed reading this novel.
Gaeilge - We continued the topic 'An Teilifís' this week. The children enjoyed talking about the different programmes that they are interested in watching.
Maths - We continued algebra this week.
SPHE - The topic was strangers this week in SPHE. We discussed what a stranger means and when we should talk to strangers e.g. in a shop if you lost your parent.
Drama - Our drama lesson focused on anti-bullying this week.
