Congratulations to Cillian, who was awarded Star of the Week last week!
Here are some of the topics we explored in class this week:
English – We continued our work on persuasive writing. The children wrote about the game they thought was the best and gave three reasons to convince the class of their choice.
Gaeilge – We are continuing with the topic bia. The children really enjoyed playing a board game based on this theme.
Maths – Our work on time continued this week, and the children are really engaging well with the topic.
Music & Drama – We are busy practising for the Christmas play, and excitement is definitely building!
Art – We have been creating some lovely winter-themed art. We worked on perspective this week.
Religion – We discussed Advent and made beautiful candles for our sacred space.
