This week, we read about Mahmoud and his life in Syria. We considered how difficult life is for those living in war torn countries. We wrote emails describing a day in the life of Mahmoud.
In Math, we have been reviewing Time and adding and subtracting durations of time. We have also been converting units of time.
This week Jamie & Karan represented the school in an Athletics competition - well done to them both. Their team came second and they made us all very proud.
A few quick reminders about the upcoming week:
- There will be a bake sale next Wednesday 3rd June - it is 50cent per bun and students are asked to bring/bake hand-held buns for this fundraiser.
- Sports Day is scheduled to take place on Thursday 4th June (weather depending). Please pack extra water, snacks, hat and sun cream for students. Remember to also wear correct running shoes and clothes.
- Fun Day (weather depending) and early finish for students on Friday 5th June.
