Save our Homeless Christmas Food Appeal Our annual Christmas Food Appeal for Save our Homeless has begun. All donations of non-perishable food is greatly appreciated! Final date for donations is the 12th December.
A personal note of thanks for the effort that was put in to the cultural bake off. The children enjoyed presenting what they made and also getting to try each others dishes. I know some kids were off due to illness that would have loved it so we will try to run something similar later in the school year.
Maths
We consolidated our learning of the clock. Moving back and forward in time and then checking out knowledge of cinema times and bus times.
Irish
We finished up on our topic of Bia. The children have learnt a lot and can use this learning in their day to day life.
English
The children will all change their library books on Monday. Please continue to encourage reading at hom.
Swimming
The children had another great week swimming with some of our brave kids taking to the slide for the first time!!!
Christmas Production
The children are part of the choir for the Christmas production. They have been practicing hard in school and I have sent home the songs with them to do some extra practice with their day of on Monday
