Well done to Hollie for getting Star of the Week last week!

Below is some of the work we covered this week:

English - We started procedural writing this week. We were working on conjunctions this week. 

Gaeilge - We started the topic 'Ag Siopadóireacht' this week. The children enjoyed learning the song 'Rachaimid ag Siopadóireacht'. 

Maths - We worked on the topic area this week. The children counted the area of their initials on squared paper. 

Geography - The children started researching some of the different counties in Ireland. 

Science - We were working on the life cycles of butterflies and frogs this week. 

Music - We focused on some traditional Irish music this week. 

PE - The children enjoyed playing different games with the parachute. 

Religion - Our lessons focused on the Pentecost this week. 

SPHE - This week's lesson focused on decision making.
