5th class at the end of April
1st May 2025
Hi everyone
The months are flying by but 5th class are keeping up the hard work
Maths
This week we have covered equations. Looking at closed and open number sentences, reviewing our symbols for greater than and less than and then applying this to word problems.
English
We learned more on types of conjunctions, prepositions and contractions. The children are currently writing a story about an accident they once had.
Irish
We are on a new topic of Abhaile. The children are learning about different rooms in the house and worked together in groups to create and label a house using our Irish vocabulary.
P.E
The children had great fun participating in gymnastics. This week we focused on different types of rolls.
SESE
We used the chrome books to research the Wild Atlantic Way. The children looked at the tourism industry and the benefits this brings to the economy.
