The children have been exploring the story of 'the Gruffalo'. We have looked at character description and the children have been having lots of fun making some weird and wonderful food for the Gruffalo using play dough and also in their free play sessions in the 'Gruffalo Cafe'!
In our Phonics lessons the children have been learning the 'c, k and e sounds. They have been doing some beautiful handwriting.
Maths
We have been looking at equal and non equal sets this week through a variety of different practical activities and games. The children have been practicing writing the number 4 and 5 everyday. Please help them practice this at home to help reinforce their learning.
Irish
We have been learning the words for big and small this week as well as recapping the colours.
SESE
The children have been discussing the sounds of winter. They have been making some cosy winter clothes for snowmen.
