A fun-filled week!
We've had a busy week in the lead up to Halloween,
✍🏻 English: We have put the finishing touches to our class book, "Our Hopes & Dreams for the Future". We will be submitting it in the next few weeks for publication. A gentle reminder if anyone wishes to pre-order a copy of the book, you can do so at the following link,

We read a Halloween story about "How to Recognise a Witch" and discussed the spooky, descriptive language used in the story.
🎃 Gaeilge: We focused on our theme Oíche Shamhna this week and learned lots of vocabulary for talking about Halloween in Irish.
🏚️ Haunted Houses: In Art, we created spooky Haunted House Silhouettes.
⚽ PE: We began Gaelic coaching this week for PE.
🎲 Nursing Home Visits: We had our second visit to Curam Care Nursing Home this week, it is a brilliant experience for the pupils and it's wonderful to give back to the local community.
🧮Maths Week: We took part in a Maths Quiz online which really tested our mathematical thinking and problem solving skills.
We also joined up with 5th class for a Maths Quiz in the halls, great fun for both classes!
Have a wonderful weekend ⭐
