This week our 4th class children had great fun, enjoying cutting and drawing animal shapes for some tessellation art. We also began some buddy reading, in which the children read together and take note of words in their dictionary copies, expanding their vocabulary.
In English we are exploring recount writing, becoming familiar with how to plan the writing. And in maths we are exploring place value, discovering larger numbers and easier ways to understand and use them.
