We had a fantastic week celebrating both Anti-Bullying Week and Science Week!
English:
This week, we began exploring persuasive writing. The children really enjoyed taking part in a walking debate to share and challenge different opinions.
Gaeilge:
We continued our topic ‘An Scoil’. The children had great fun playing the game ‘Waffle’ to test their vocabulary and understanding.
Maths:
We started learning about division and used concrete materials to help the children understand how division works in a hands-on way.
Science:
Science Week was full of exciting activities and experiments! The children built towers using marshmallows and spaghetti and created fantastic parachutes for their homework.
SPHE and Drama:
Our focus was on Anti-Bullying, and the children took part in a variety of thoughtful discussions and creative activities to explore kindness and empathy.
PE:
The children really enjoyed developing their hockey skills this week.
