It's been an exciting week in our classroom! We wrapped up our English storytime with a roar-ing success, diving into the world of, "Big Cats" We learned all about the fascinating habitats of Jaguars, Lions, and Tigers.
In Maths, we ventured into the world of Decimals, Fractions, and Percentages. We practiced converting between these different forms and learned how to apply them in real-life scenarios. To reinforce their understanding, we encourage you to try out some practical activities at home, such as measuring ingredients for a recipe or calculating discounts while shopping.
Our Irish lessons continued to explore the theme of Types of Homes, and our students are becoming experts on the different types of dwellings as gaeilge.
As we prepare for the transition to secondary school, we also focused on Friendship Skills. Our students learned about the importance of empathy, communication, and kindness in building strong relationships. We're confident that these skills will serve them well in the years to come.
In Spanish, we made great strides in learning numbers and practiced counting through songs.
