Congratulations to Kajus for getting Star of the Week last week!
This week we celebrated Catholic Schools Week! We had the pleasure of watching a performance of Aladdin in our school this week, It was absolutely fantastic and greatly enjoyed by all.
Below is some of the work we completed this week:
English - The children continued exploring the writing genre 'Writing to Socialise'. The children wrote letters to their imaginary pen pals, showing great creativity and enthusiasm.
Gaeilge - We continued the topic Caitheamh Aimsire. The children enjoyed talking and writing about their favourite hobbies.
Maths - We began our new topic on Money. The children loved using play coins to create different amounts and develop their understanding in a hands-on way.
Geography - The children shared their research projects on the River Shannon with the class, demonstrating excellent effort and presentation skills.
PE - we are continuing to develop our basketball skills. The children are really enjoying the Croke Park Active Breaks challenge each day.
