English - The children were working on analogies and the sounds ei and ie this week. We finished the writing genre writing to socialise.
Gaeilge - The children worked on sentence structure this week. We focused on An Aimsir Láithreach for verb work this week.
Maths - We finished the topic money this week. The children really enjoyed making their own shop and figuring out how much money they needed to buy certain items.
Religion - We were learning all about Saint Brigid this week.
Art - The children created lovely art for Saint Brigid's Day.
History - The children were continuing to learn about Norman Life in Ireland. They compared Norman life to life today.
Geography - The children were doing some atlas work. They were investigating the rivers and mountains in Louth and around Dundalk.
SPHE - We had a discussion about safe and unsafe places.
