Maths
This week we looked at groups of ten and how to count on from ten all the way up to 15. We practiced lots of mental maths using ten plus. We also started looking at 2D shapes. We went on a 2D shape hunt around the school to see what we could find.

Each morning, we discuss in Irish what the weather is like today. We also describe what we can see in the sky. We have read the Story of Littie Red Riding Hiood in Irish
📖English
The children have learned about toughy y - words which end i 'ay' and 'oy'. We have developed our orl language through class duscussions about all the things we see and do at birthday parties.

We conducted a science expeiemnt to see what will happen to a chocoalte button if it is placed somewhere warm. We warmed up our hands and watched what happened..
