The children have been practicing their lines and songs each day in order to be ready for our Christmas performance. It was the first time on safe in front of an audience for most of the children. They did an amazing job. Well done boys and girls I am so proud of you!
English
The children have been learning the 'p and 'n' sounds this week. They have completed sorting jobs where they sorted words according to their initial sounds. They have also been working on writing the sounds correctly.
Maths
3D shape has been our focus this week. We have been exploring shape in the environment around us. The children have also been focusing on writing the number 2 and 3 correctly. It would be beneficial if you supported your child with with practicing this.
Irish
We have been learning Christmas vocabulary this week.
Science
The children gave been learning about the forces of push and pull this week. They took part in car races with their friends to see who could push their car the hardest to win the race. Things got very competitive!
