Here are some of the things we have been doing in Junior Infants this week.
English
We have revisited all sounds taught to date using songs, games and actions. The children have been focusing on our new sound h.
They have been working super hard at writing all their new sounds this week.
Maths
We have been focusing on the numbers 1-5 this week. This included identifying the missing numbers on a number line and matching sets to the correct number. The children have been writing the numbers 1-5 in their copybooks.
Irish
The children have been counting to 5 in Irish this week as well as learning the words for summer and winter.
