Lá Glas and plenty of Irish
22nd Mar 2026
Hi everyone,
Another week down in SEB and a short one it was, but that didnt stop the children of 4th B from doing a lot of work.
In English we have continued to explore the novel Ratburger with 4th class A. Discussions and analysis of the characters in the story have allowed the children to share their thoughts and work together to understand the story.
In maths we continued to explore length, working on turning centimeters into metres, and metres into kilometres, and even using new measuring tools.
In Irish the children have been working hard at leaning our national anthem, and have been excellent at singing it as a unit, doing well at pronouncing even the trickiest of words in the song.
And in drama the children used their imaginations to create and act out their role play scenarios, and having a lot of fun pretending to fight argue and save each other in very well acted adventures.
