We've had a busy time this week, the last week in May!
📝 Project Work: This week we have combined our SESE and English together. The pupils chose topics of interest to research and compile a project on. They then had to present the project and "Teach the Teacher"! Well done everyone, fantastic projects and I've learned lots of new facts this week about sports cars, Olivia Rodrigo, India, Sweden, Lithuania, Nigeria and Romania.
🧮 Maths: We started working on Chance & Data this week. We have carried out surveys on the pupils favourite chocolate bars and compiled bar charts to represent our findings.
Lots more work this week on our times tables, focusing on our 6 times tables.

🇩🇰Denmark: We completed our projects on Denmark this week & the groups presented them to the class.
🇪🇸Spanish: We began our Spanish lessons and we have been really impressed with how much vocabulary the children already know!
We've learned how to say our name, age and count to 20. We also explored the origins and variations of the language and the different countries around the world that speak Spanish.

🐝Bees: We explored the important role bees play in our environment and how important they are in our ecosystem. The pupils designed fantastic posters to "Protect the Bees".

We continued our GAA coaching this week & took part in some friendly matches.
