We are celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge this week and next week in Scoil Eoin Baiste. The children have been learning Amhrán na bhFiann and practicing their prayers in Irish.
Below are some of the topics and activities we completed this week in 4th Class A:
Gaeilge: We have been learning about Lá Fhéile Pádraig and discussing how it is celebrated.
English: The children wrote about a woman who inspires them to celebrate International Women’s Day. We also started working on the novelRatburger with 4th Class B.
Maths: The children enjoyed a hunt around the school to find examples of 3D shapes to finish this topic. We also began learning about decimals this week.
SPHE: We learned about strategies for coping with bullying and how to respond in a positive way.
Religion: The children have been working hard to learn the prayer Ár nAthair.
SEE: The children presented fantastic projects based on their own interests. They did a wonderful job sharing their work with the class.
