What a brilliant week we’ve had exploring our Minibeasts theme.
🔍 Outdoor Explorers
We became real garden detectives this week, heading outside to hunt for worms, snails 🐌, woodlice and spiders 🕷️. The children had so much fun digging gently in the dirt, carefully retrieving our minibeast friends and making sure we put them back safely afterwards. Their curiosity and care were amazing to see.
🔢 Maths Adventures
Back in class, we kept our counting skills busy. We worked on:
- Counting numbers and matching numerals to quantities
- Sorting and sequencing with colourful counting bears 🐻
- Matching activities
- Counting busy bees 🐝
✏️ Phonics & Writing
We continued revising our Jolly Phonics sounds and practised forming our letters. The children are getting more confident with both their sounds and handwriting every day!
