Happy new year everyone! Here is what we have been up to in 2nd class this week:
Maths
This week we finished the topic of shapes. Next week we will be working on counting strategies and techniques.
- Daily 10: Linked here, we do this every morning in our class as a maths warm up. We usually select Level 2 - Addition - 20 seconds, but feel free to explore the many other options available.

Literacy
Both 1st and 2nd Class have been working on grammar related to verbs and the difference between is and are. We have been learning about space this week.
Gaeilge
Next week we will be working on the theme of Caitheamh Aimsire.
