Here is what we have been up to in 1st & 2nd class this week:
Maths
We have just finished adding and subtracting with renaming.
- Daily 10: Linked here, we do this every morning in our class as a maths warm up. We usually select Level 2 - Addition - 20 seconds, but feel free to explore the many other options available, such as doubles to 20.

- Place Value Basketball - for hundreds, tens, units linked here.
Literacy
Both 1st and 2nd Class have been working on grammar related to direct speech. We have also been learning about bees and writing fact files
GaeilgeThis week we are working on Ár nAthair (Our Father in Irish) and Ámhrán na bhFiann - the national anthem. Our theme is Ag siopadóireacht.
