A busy busy few weeks for the kids. We have been working really hard in all aspects of school life. They were rewarded with a hot chocolate morning which they all really enjoyed.
Math
We have covered weight in grams and kgs, volume in liters and milliliters and length in CMS and meters. We have also squeezed in some revision topics from the start of the year.
English
The children have continued their hard work on comprehension, spelling and grammar. They are continuing to develop their free writing skills and reading as much as possible.
Irish
We are shopping in Irish. Learning items that we buy, prices. Saying what we would like and what we would not like.
P.E
Practice for sports day is in full swing. We will be competing in the Sack race, wheelbarrow race and sprint.
SPHE
We have discussed the important relationships in our lives and what makes those people special. We talked about who we can turn to in times of need and identified trusted adults.
