The First Week of December

Here are some of the topics we explored this week: 

English - we started some work on pronouns and spent some time exploring our class novel. 

Gaeilge - we finished the topic 'Bia'. The children worked on the verbs to eat and to drink and practised using them in simple sentences. 

Maths - we completed the topic time this week. The children enjoyed answering questions based on timetables. 

Music and Drama - A huge effort has been put into preparations for our Christmas Show.

Art - This week's art involved creating beautiful snow globes.

Religion - we began our advent calendar and continued discussing the meaning and importance of Advent.
