We had a very fun and active week in SEB this week with the children in 4th B enjoying our school tour to GR8 in dundalk this week.
The children had great fun along with classes 4th A and 5th, partaking in games of bowling, pool, darts and golf. The children enjoyed practicing new skills and challenging each other in friendly competition.
In our work this week the children have begun to explore decimals, discovering the link it has to fractions, and becoming aware of how to turn fractional number into decimal numbers.
In English the children are continuing to develop their reading and comprehension though the exploration of the Ratburger novel as well as some short extracts in their Loft Off book.
Both 4th classes were able to listen to speakers from Women's Aid Dundalk this week and become increasingly aware of the different feelings they may experience and discover some of the supports available in our local community.
