This week in 5th class we have been revisiting what 'good group work' looks like. We worked in groups during oral language to put this into practice. This involved giving each member a different role such as timekeeper, leader, reporter and recorder.
In writing this week, we have been focusing on using commas in lists and figuring out anagrams. The kids loved spending time figuring out the anagrams on their whiteboards.
In Math, we have been working on long multiplication using 2 different methods. The kids tried hard to remember to use 'Hero Zero,' in their working out.
In SPHE, we are continuing the topic of 'How to take care of my Body.' We worked in groups to present information on how different ages can be healthy/ unhealthy and discussed the importance of making good choices early in life.
