Scoil Náisiúnta Eoin Baiste, Dundalk, Co. Louth

Week 11: 17th-21st November

26th Nov 2025
Practice for the Christmas play is well underway this week and the children are learning the songs quickly. They have beautiful singing voices and are enjoying performing the songs with the other classes.

In Math we have been learning about different types of angles and learning how to use a protractor. This has been tricky for the children, but they have been resilient in their attempts. They now know where the centre point and baseline are. The children worked in pairs to consider what type of angle was shown, which side of the protractor to read and then find different angle measurements together.

In oral language, the children have been talking about airports and how safety measures are in place to help each of us travel safely. In English, we read a story called 'Missing from the skies,' and answered questions based on this.

In SESE, we have been reading about different types of Winter Festivals around the World.
