Save our Homeless Christmas Food Appeal Our annual Christmas Food Appeal for Save our Homeless has begun. All donations of non-perishable food is greatly appreciated! Final date for donations is the 12th December.
This week has been really busy between GAA, practising for the Christmas concert and making Christmas cards for the Curam Care Nursing Home. The children took great care making their cards with sweet messages for the residents and hopefully they will enjoy them.
We worked so hard this week creating a persuasive writing piece about 'Why you shouldn't be afraid to Fly.' The children created great arguments and points to encourage others to use airplanes to travel. In oral language, they have learned lots of ways the airport staff keep us safe when travelling.
In Gaeilge this week, we learned about prepositions such as: ar an (on the) faoi (under) ag an (at the) in aice le (beside the) taobh thiar de (behind) idir (between) os cionn (above) i (in).
In Religion, we have been learning about different Saints and why they were selected to be a Saint.
