English - We have been working on narrative writing. The children wrote stories about looking after their younger sibling / pet for a day. The children came up with their own inventions as part of our oral language lesson this week.
Gaeilge – We are continuing the topic ‘An Scoil’. The children have been learning the words for different objects in the classroom. They enjoyed playing games on WordWall based on the topic. Maths – We started the topic multiplication this week. The children are all excellent at their times tables. They enjoyed playing multiplication games with the dice. SESE – The children completed their projects about Ireland. Art – The children were working on paint, colour and drawing.
PE – The children really enjoyed their first trip to the Aura this week for swimming!
