A busy week in 6th class as we lead up to the midterm break,
English: We continued reading our novel, The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, and completed character profiles on the main character, Bruno.
Maths: We worked on fractions and decimals this week, converting from fractions to decimals and vice versa. We also looked at fractions and finding the whole amount.
Gaeilge: Our theme this week was An Aimsir (The Weather), we explored talking about and presenting the weather forecast and we learned the verb, to be.
We did lots of work on kindness and positive affirmations and created a wonderful display to remind everyone in our school to be kind to ourselves and others.
We also did printing using paint to create Valentine's Day artwork.
