The kids have come back after the break and straight into learning.
Maths
We have been leaning out 8 and 4 times tables and applying that to everyday situations. Kids who we not sure if their 8 times takes were able to double their 4s showing great understanding and adapting.
English
We learned about the history of trains, tubes the DART trains from other countries. The kids also worked on their homophones; to, too and two and their knowledge of synonyms.
Irish
We gave started our new topic of recreation. The children are learning to say Is maith liom and ni maith liom along with the activity they like or don't like. They have learnt how to say various activities such as ag snamh, ag imirt peil ect.
Homework
The children did not have homework this week, however from next week there will be a step up in what they have. They will record this in their homework diary.
