We have had a busy week settling back into school.
We've spent lots of time getting to know each other.
🤝 Morning Meetings: Each morning, we begin the day with our morning meetings, this includes a sharing activity, game and a message for the day. It's a wonderful way to get to know each other & begin our day.
📝 English: We've been revising punctuation and practising our handwriting.
We looked at some poetry by Kenn Nesbitt, "My Cat Won't Stop Talking".
We have also started planning our story writing for the Our Class book project which we will be taking part in over the next few weeks. By the end of this project, we will be published authors & our book will be available for order.

https://www.topmarks.co.uk/maths-games/daily10🇮🇪 Gaeilge: Our topic this week is Mé Féin. We have been taking part in Comhrá Beirte to practice our new phrases and vocabulary.
👩🏻🎨 Art: We worked on self portraits this week and art work involving our names.
