Maths ๐Ÿงฎ

This week we revised our numbers up to 20, we practiced finding which number comes before and which number comes after each number all the way up to 20. We also continued practicing how to add using a numberline.

๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿฆ‹We also began looking at symmetry. We looked at how both of a butterflies wings show symmetry and we created our own butterflies to show how each wing is identical.

๐Ÿ“–English

In English, we revised all our sounds and tricky words covered to date. We did lots of practice with our neat writing, making sure to keep each letter on the line. We also leaned to spell some short words and some of our tricky words we have covered so far this year!

World Book Week ๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿ”–โœจ

We spent lots of time reading from our classroom library to celebrate world book week! We made lovely bookmarks to keep track of what page we are on, and we drew pictures of our favourite characters from our favourite books!

Irish ๐Ÿ’š

We looked at the story 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' as Gaeilge to celebrate world book week. We described what the catterpillar looked like, what colours are in him and what he ate each day all through Irish

PE ๐Ÿƒ‍โ™€๏ธ
In P.E., we pretended to be caterpillars and had a belly race ๐Ÿ›
